Who are we?

The name of the Youth Innovation Center HUUB comes from the English word hub, which means community center. The idea started when the Pärnumaa Youth Association and the Forwardspace cooperation center decided to conduct a survey among Pärnu high school students, which investigated what young people think is missing in their hometown.

The most frequent answer was: innovative youth center. Discussions were then started with the city government, and in the fall of 2019, premises were obtained on Akadeemia Street in the city center and construction work began. HUUB opened its doors on July 15, 2020.

What make us stand out?

We believe that everyone can be the best version of themselves!

Our team is not very different from our target group, because the team members themselves are also young in order to maintain mutual understanding and direct communication.

What we can offer?

We have a lot of awesome books

In our library you can find many books in Estonian and English, the latter cannot be found everywhere in Estonia. Topics vary from self-development to entrepreneurship.

And various board games

There are about a dozen board games – both strategic and party games. In addition, we regularly play together.

Ability to hold meetings

The room has facilities for taking notes and showing the screen. In addition, technology for recording podcasts. The only thing you need to bring with you is a computer or phone where you can record the sound.

To rest

Xbox One, PS4 and PS3 game consoles with a remote for you and a friend. For a more sporty activity, table tennis or a bunk bed for sleeping

Or learn

A cozy environment creates good opportunities for studying. There are separate areas for solo learners, such as our bunk or couches for larger groups.

And participate in events

The best place in the center of Pärnu to hold events or participate in them.

HUUB most often organizes concerts, film and board game evenings, and opinion evenings.
