Who are we?

We started with VR in 2016 and never looked back. We were among the first to step into the immersive new world of VR, pushing the boundaries of the medium with every new project.

We understand what works in VR and how to get the most out of each and every experience we create. As a medium, VR has very unique demands that must be taken into account, just putting things into a VR environment is not enough. Each approach to story telling, interactions and game design has to be built from the ground up in order to create the most memorable and mesmerizing experience possible.

Maru VR has always been at the cutting edge of virtual reality. We got our start developing custom-made location-based VR, and now we are creating our own unique full-featured premium VR games.

We believe that VR has the power to harness interactive entertainment in order to conceive deep experiences and create strong emotional feelings with players, that other mediums cannot provide.

About the game

The VR game “Do you have hero material in you?” puts the player in the middle of a natural disaster in 2023, where they must step up and solve different challenges in critical situations.

The player must first choose the right equipment and then repair a wind turbine 90m above the ground, change the chips of a drone, perform a remote knee surgery, design optimal food portions and harvest crop with a harvester while avoiding obstacles and distractors. The player gets overview of different future professions and skills required.
