Who are we?
Chaosmonger Studio is a multimedia production company based in Tallinn, Estonia.
Founded in the early 2000s in Bologna, Italy, by Nicola Piovesan, the company has nearly 20 years of experience in producing different kinds of entertainment. From documentaries, science fiction films, and animations to music videos, graphic design, and video games, Chaosmonger has created award-winning content since its inception.
With almost 100 awards in hundreds of festivals worldwide, including prestigious A-Series ones, Chaosmonger Studio is an eclectic reality, with an eye always focused on the future.
What make us stand out?
Movies
Nearly every project we have completed in the last 10 years has won at least one award. Being it a documentary, a funny short film, an animated web-series or a music video. From Shanghai to London, from New York to Berlin, we are proud to have received worldwide recognition.
Games
We started developing games in early 2019, getting worldwide attention almost immediately, including a showcase at Gamescom in Koln, Germany, the biggest video-games gathering in Europe. In 2021 we’ve released ENCODYA, a modern point-and-click adventure, and in 2023 CLUNKY HERO, a platformer metroidvania with a ton of humor, THREE MINUTES TO EIGHT a mind-bending adventure game, and the first chapter of SOUL TOLERANCE, an investigative RPG made in voxel art. We are currently working on the funny SCHIZOLLAMA, a run’n’gun platformer inspired by retro arcade games.

About the game
Neo Berlin 2062. Tina – a nine-year-old orphan – lives with SAM-53 – her big clumsy robot guardian – in a rooftop makeshift shelter in Neo-Berlin, a dark megalopolis controlled by corporations. Tina is an urban jungle kid, who has learned to live alone, scavenging from city dumpsters and eking out a living from scraps. Her funny robot is always with her, programmed to protect her no matter what.
One day, the little girl discovers that her father left her an important mission: to finish his plan to save the world from grayness! Tina and SAM embark on an incredible adventure across different realities full of bizarre robotic creatures and grotesque human beings. Through puzzles and exciting dialogues, they’ll find out the true meaning of being alive. The sweetness and creativity of Studio Ghibli, the setting and atmosphere of Blade Runner and the humor and game style of Monkey Island: these are the ingredients that inspired ENCODYA, a point-and-click adventure game set in a dystopian future.

STORYLINE
In a village far, far away, a dull peasant named Rufus was living an ordinary life. The boss of the house was his wife, Brunilde, a boisterously smart and funny woman that you wouldn’t exactly call “pretty”. Life was nice and happy in the village, until one day, awakened by some magical mistake, the Evil One started to spread his minions around town, performing hideous acts against the people. The worst of which was the kidnapping of Brunilde. She was torn from Rufus’ hands and put in a prison at the Evil One’s castle. Transformed into a blondie duck-faced doll girl, she now spends all her time staring at herself in a small handheld mirror.
Determined to win her back, Rufus made a helmet out of a bucket and picked a broom as a weapon. Everybody now calls him the CLUNKY HERO, but he might be the only hope to defeat the evil one that no one wants to call by name. Rufus is now on his journey to save his wife and the whole village!
