Fat Snail Studios is an independent video game development studio, founded in 2011 by Sergei Dragunov and Mihhail Nikiforov. The company mainly focuses on creating original content with a kind of experimental workflow. Fat Snail Studio is a art development house and laboratory for creativity. With the knowledge from our past works ( outsource graphics for Big Studios like: Remedy, Bioware, EA ). We have started to make our own experiments with Unity and Flash. And now we have 2 games already released for android mobile – “Run Flower Run” and “Abandoned Mine”. 1 game is in development – “Fisher dog”.
How did you get started with developing games
At the beginning Fat Snail Studio was aiming in animation production. Studio started to work with advertising agencies and local theatres. While working on a huge projects such a big events there was created a lot of iterations between audience and projected animations. This experience was give an effort for understanding all the importance of the production phases. Ideas slightly turned in to the game concepts. For example that’s how our project “Flowerman” turned into the game “Run Flower Run”.
what motivate you
Trying to be serious while having fun or having fun when having serious decisions. Fat Snail Studios like to brand ourselves as developers of experimental gaming experience. Team believe that creators should be responsible for their creations since they gave a new life for new things. The same with the bad things.
