Profile
Who are we?
Interactive virtual reality educational game that makes learning science fun.
Content designed by professionals, proven to deliver results in science
education. Futuclass content covers topics from upper middle school chemistry and physics curriculum. Hands-on VR learning puzzles increase significantly student engagement by involving more senses. 3d dimensional world and real life examples help students see behind complex formulas and enable deep thinking.
What make us stand out?
- Proven educational value
Each study module is extensively tested until 70% of students who complete it significantly improve their knowledge of the topic. - Best way to learn chemistry
Students report super high engagement rates (especially the rowdy ones) while achieving much better test results. - Easy-to-follow lesson plans
Each module comes with a lesson plan assembled by experts. Send us your email so we can send it to you. - Easy setup like any VR app
It works exactly like a VR app on commercial platforms.

About the app
Learn to balance chemical reactions in the most fun way possible! Throw the molecules onto the table, observe the visual helpers, and pull the lever when you’ve got it! Beat 8 levels in ascending difficulty at your own pace. When you reach the end, you’ll know how to balance chemical equations!
Curriculum fit: Balancing chemical equations is taught in the curriculum of 8th grade Basic Chemistry in most countries. However, the VR lesson can be enjoyed by players of any age wishing to learn.
PLACE PARTICLES ON THE BALANCING TABLE
Grab reagent particles and product particles and put them on the table! Particle model colors are indicative but their size and position relative to each other is realistic.
LEARN FROM FEEDBACK
Take a look at various visual helpers around you to balance the equation. Voice and text feedback will become useful as well!
CONSECUTIVE CORRECT ANSWERS COUNT
When you think you’ve got the reaction balanced, pull the lever to check your answer! You’ll need three consecutive correct answers to pass a level.
LEARN MORE WITH EACH LEVEL
As you advance to higher levels, the reactions get more challenging and visual helpers are gradually removed. The particle models themselves might change to help you learn even better!
When you finish the game, take the test at the back of the Lesson Plan to see if you can balance equations on paper as well as you can in this VR lesson.
Pre-requsites: Knows what is expressed by a chemical reaction formula. Can symbolize molecules using molecular models. Uses correct notation for symbolizing chemical elements.
Learning Goals: After the lesson, the student will be able to use coefficients and subscripts correctly in a reaction equation; balance reaction equations presented visually also in written form; balance and complete the reaction equations; explain the process of balancing chemical equations; fix incorrectly balanced equations.
Overview: This lessons teaches the student to balance chemical reactions typically taught in Basic Chemistry, working one’s way from simpler equations to more difficult ones in 8 levels. Student will learn about: coefficients, reaction equation balancing, chemical structure of substances.

About the app
Escape the room using your chemistry knowledge! Explore the clues lying around. Clear up the poisonous gas blocking your exit. Turn a toxic combustion reaction into a regular combustion reaction. Heat up different liquids to obtain the needed molecules.
Curriculum fit: Oxygen and combustion are taught in the curriculum of 8th grade Basic Chemistry in most countries. However, the VR lesson can be enjoyed by players of any age wishing to learn.
Download the Free Lesson Plan for Oxygen Escape Room to maximize the learning from this VR lesson.
Playing this VR lesson is easier after student has completed Reaction Balancing.
FIGURE OUT HOW TO ESCAPE
Move around the room and explore the posters and whiteboards left behind for clues on how to escape.
USE A BUNSEN BURNER
Heat up different liquids using a Bunsen burner. Each liquid produces molecules which could – or could not – be useful at the balancing table.
SOLVE THE COMBUSTION PUZZLE
Solve the challenge of turning a balanced toxic combustion reaction into a balanced non-toxic combustion reaction.
CELEBRATE BY EXPLORING
After you have cleared your path for exit, reward yourself by exploring a bit more before escaping the room.
When you finish the game, take the test at the back of the Lesson Plan to see if you can balance equations on paper as well as you can in this VR lesson.
Pre-requsites: Can gather information from a molecular formula. Can explain how reaction equations work. Can balance simpler reaction equations. Understands the 3D model of a molecule.
Learning Goals: After the lesson, the student will be able to deduce which substances required for the reaction to occur based on the chemical equation; know the required conditions for complete and incomplete combustion to occur; know how to balance a reaction for the complete combustion of ethane; differentiate between the parts that make up the 3D model of a molecule.
Overview: This escape room will test the student’s understanding of incomplete and complete combustion and reaction balancing. The student will carry out decomposition reactions using the Bunsen burner to produce the required substances. It is recommend to play the Reaction Balancing module first. Student will learn about: conditions for incomplete and complete combustion, balancing a chemical reaction for the complete combustion of ethane, decomposing substances using the Bunsen burner.
